This script reads level names and elevations from an Excel spreadsheet and uses this data to create floor levels. This is a good script when you're starting a new project and need to do some setup before yous begin modeling.
2. Summate FAR and GFA values
This script collects all the area elements and filters for "Gross Building" surface area. It then sums upwards the areas first by level and so total to summate the GFA (gross flooring area). Next, information technology reads the property lines and extracts its area. Dividing the GSF by the site area yields the FAR (floor area ration).
